My Favorite WordPress Plugins

Written on July 6, 2009

I have been working on my self – hosted WordPress blog since November 2008 in which I imported all of my past blog posts from the free version since May 2008.  Since then I have acquired many skills using the Self Hosted version which allows anyone to add more applications to customize how I want the blog/website to work.

WordPress uses plugins which allow you to add applications which integrate from other social media sites and optimize the software to work faster, smarter and efficiently.

Here is a complete list of WordPress Plugins

Check out the plugins I have used in some fashion to fully optimize my self hosted WordPress blog.

You’re missing NextGEN gallery. Super important gallery plugin for showing images (listings).

cForms = good! Gotta generate the lead.

Tag cloud? nah! wasted use of space, but I use it;)

How about ListingPress? An IDX feed for a blog!!!!! Wow!

Thanks for the tip on NextGen gallery and ListingPress. I appreciate the comment. Hope to meet you when I come to Seattle for Edcon in October.
